If I understand the manufacturer's web site correctly, your PS has 8 pin
and 4 pin 12V connectors. It's possible that the 8 pin connector splits into
two 4 pin ones, but that's not clear from the web page.

The 4 pin 12V power is required by your motherboard, to run the CPU.
The 4 pin connector that can be separated from the 24 pin ATX connector is
completely different. Don't mess with it.
If you can't find a 4 pin connector (or the 8 pin one can't be separated
into two 4 pin ones), then your PSU is missing a connector.
