info on the k8w?

anyone know roughly when the k8w will be hitting the shops?

it seems to have been announced at the same time as the k8s (in
http://www.tyan.com/support/html/newsletter09.html) which is now for sale,
but there's still no sign of the k8w.

how big is the gap usually from "coming soon" status to hitting the
shelves?
