Planning on o/c`ing my cpu. got some corsair twinx ddr550 ram to make sure
no probs there and my m/b is a gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G with 865PE chipset.
got a coolermaster hyper48 hsf on the cpu. is there a ball park figure i
could expect to o/c this cpu to? with ddr400 ram i`ve had it running at
3.2GHz so would 3.7GHz be out of the question? any comments would be
helpful, especially if you have o/c`d this cpu/mb/ram combo or something
similar. Thx

I've got a 3.0C running rock solid at 3.75GHz (250FSB) with
Corsair XMS running 1:1 at 2.5-3-3-7. That's about the best
I can do with this cpu/memory and air cooling, your top end
may be higher or lower. 3.4GHz is pretty much a given, and
3.6 should be no problem in most cases. Above that and it's
luck of the draw.
