Post subject: will not load windows
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>msi-microstar (more info?)

I am trying to get this new computer going .
it has a RX480 Neo2-F,K8,S939 mobo.
It will display Realtek rtl81105/81695 Gigabite Boot agent press shift
F10 to configure than go as far as to start booting windows than askes
for the mode I have tryed safe mode as well as standared then re boot
than it will go through it all over agin.
Can any one help??????

So you've taken an old boot disk, from a computer
with a different chipset, and are now trying to
boot the new computer with it ?

Perhaps you need a repair install via the CD drive.

I am using the hard drive out of my old computer, with win XP.
Not using a boot disk.

K8t Neo and Windows XP Pro - I recently constructed a new computer using the MSI K8T Neo Motherboard and a Seagate 160GB SATA hard drive. Everything seems to work fine except when I turn on the system, it hangs for a while at the Serial Master 0 and 1 prompt. It detcts my 160GB..
