Post subject: logitech Elite very slow repeat rate
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>keyboard (more info?)

Hi all:

Has anyone experienced this issue?
I just switched to a Logitech Elite keyboard and the repeat rate is set to
the highest setting ..
It' way, way, way too slow for me ... It's driving me nuts!
Is there anyway to get the thing to rocket across like my old Navigator?

System setup:
(2) PCs - 1 monitor, 1 mouse & 1 keyboard through KVM
OS in both PCs - Windows 2000 pro
(1) AMD 2600 - w / 1.5 GB (2) HDs non RAID
(2) AMD 2800 - w / 2.0 GB (4) HDs / 2 RAID

Identical software in both PCs

I have tried everything I can think of ... even switched back to the old
Navigator and it worked like it always did ... fast!.
All setting are as fast as the programs will allow, but the repeat rate on
this keyboard ... well ... it's sssslllloooowwwww!

Any help would be appreciated.

Tia

if you set it to "slow"... is it even slower?

i would take it back for an exchange...

logitech usually doesn't make much in the line of junk... i've been happy w/
my logitech marble trackball for years, as well as my logitech keyboard...

if the second one happens to do the same thing.... contact Logitech on the
issue....<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
