Hi all,

I recently got a nice logitech iTouch wireless keyboard jobby, and I'm using
Windows 2003. First problem was to get the drivers working, and I did that
by making them run in WinXP compatability mode.

Second problem is, when I use one of the fancy buttons (or the useful
looking scroll wheel) it *always* pops up the first use box with the Try It
Now button. Even if the "Do not show me this again" box is checked. So I
tried un-checking it and it still pops up. I've fiddled with the
compatability modes and it still pops up.

So I looked in the registry, and I saw a key called

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logitech\iTouch\FirstUse

and nothing in there, except an empty string value called (Default)

I'm guessing there should be something else, to inform the program that it's
not the first use. Perhaps a value for each button on the keyboard?

I'd be very grateful if someone could check their registry and see if there
is anything under this key on their computer, and let me know. I've not
been able to find any references to this problem on google or anywhere so
obviously my computer is acting very strangely.

Thanks,

leo

Indeed, here are the values I have in there, using iTouch 2.21 on WinXP:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logitech\iTouch\FirstUse]
"Initialize_iNav"=""
"Keyboard_255"=""
"MigrateExistingUserSettings"=""
"PatchDeviceFLockNotifSupport"=""
"PatchSecureLock"=""
"UpdateAssignables"=""
"Keyboard_12"=""
"FBUE_400_401_402_403_404_405_406_407_408_409_410_411_"=""
"Keyboard_7"=""
