Hi group.u guys help out n00bs like me alot so thank you all...I have
K7n2-L..My question is does it matter what slot u put ur memory in? i.e.
biggier stick in this slot and small stick in that slot...Is that purple
slot special? I have a 256 mushkin stick and a 512 patriot (CAS-2 ) both
pc2700..does it matter which one i put where...? TIA

Apparently some like it in the first,i put it in the last after my previous
stick went bust in the first slot.
Makes no difference for my mainboard but some are choosy indeed.

Putting in two different makes of ram can sometimes cause problems.If
they do try them one at a time and go with the best.The purple slot is
for duel channeling.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
