You can find out what RAM is compatible with most boards at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.crucial.com." target="_blank">www.crucial.com.</a>
Here's a link straight to the results page for the mobo you specified:

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp?Mfr%2BProductline=ASUS%2B+Motherb" target="_blank">http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp?Mfr%2BProductline=ASUS%2B+Motherb</a>
oards&mfr=ASUS&cat=RAM&model=A7A266&submit=Go

If you want the prices in something other than dollars you have to change to
one of their 'international' sites.

Apparently your board will take 1GB PC3200 DDR. Which is nice.
