hello,
Have a question for folks that have some experience with this. I have a
couple of old NEC Versa LX's, late model motherboards, that have MMC2 300's,
(p2 Dixon's) in them. Has anyone tried a p3, (MMC2 p3's, or 500+ speed
celeron's) of any speed in these laptops? Barring that, has any one any
idea on how to clock a MMC2 of this vintage. Trying to coax a bit more
useful time out of a couple of old and faithful laptops. Not seeing a lot
of info on clocking MMC2's, or laptops.

thanks

dave

and yeah, it's been a while

Unlikely that the BIOS would setup a P3 properly. But let me know if you
get some good info on clocking the p2 MMC2. I've got a couple of them I've
been looking at doing the same thing.
