Came back from dinner last night and my monitor was blank; the on-off
switch has no effect. I could understand malfunction, but not to make
any sound, etc. at all seems strange. Any ideas what this could be?
Not worth fixing unless its just a switch or something small.

Thanks
Bill

Monitor turns off on its own, then won't turn on - This has happened three days in a row (in the morning): - I turn on the monitor - The light goes on - I turn on the computer - It sends a "sync" signal right before it loads the bios - Monitor flashes briefly - Then it turns off. It does NOT ...

Won't turn on, not even fan - I put a new processor in my gigabyte board, I didn't clear the cmos and only the fan and lights turned on. I cleared the cmos and now the thing won't do anything at all. Is it fried, is it the battery? --

Computer won't turn on - My sons computer just started acting up. It's a P4 2.4g on an Asus P4P8X 865P mb that we built last summer, and it's worked fine up til now. When he turns it on, the fans go on for just a split second, and then everything shuts down and nothing happens....
