nForce IDE problems

Has anyone else had problems with the nforce IDE drivers? I tried
installing them and was getting system lockups where explorer
consantly crashed. I finally narrowed the problem down to the nForce
IDE driver. I installed every other nForce driver but the IDE one and
whalah the system is running smoothly again.

It does say on the installation for the IDE drivers that it may cause
instability.
