I have built the following pc:

MSI neo2 865pe pentium 4
Sound Blaster Sound Card - Audigy 2

The problem I am having is during post. After the IDE & CDROM Drives
are detected the operation seems to hang and eventually after several
minutes, the O/S is booted.

According to the MSI documentation, the D-bracket lights that are lit
while this is occuring are the, "Initializing Floppy Drive Controller"
task.

As I mentioned the, eventually the O/S will boot and the floppy drive
works. I tried disconnecting the drive and adding a different one but
the problem persists.

Is this a known issue or does anyone have any suggestions?

Regards,

Los
