I just built a system with the neo2 865PE fisr mobo. It has two
western digital hard drives (100 and 250 gb) both ata, on the primary
ide channel, a dvd rw and a cdrom on the secondary channel and a cdrw
and superdisk ls-120 on the third channel. System works great (so
far) EXCEPT the drives on the third channel don't show up at all in
bios although they have power. Of course they don't show in WinXP
either. I've tried all master/slave and cable select configurations
for the two drives. My bios versions are mostly up to date but can't
flash new ones at present as it requires a floppy which my board
doesn't see.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
