Hi All,

I changed the IP address of my wireless router Netgear wgr614 v5 from
192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.48; because it used to have the same ip
address as my dsl modem.
The bottom line is that I can't access the router anymore through the
browser.
Is there a method to reset this router to its initial settings or can
i access it thru telnet or some other way?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Sil

Not very likely.

Indeed.

In lieu of you reading the user's guide: there should be a reset button
somewhere on the router. Press and hold it in for 30 seconds or so. The router
will revert to the factory default settings - which includes resetting the
admin password. Don't forget to recycle the modem after resetting the router.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
