Post subject: newbie with GA-K8NS Ultra-939 :)
Hi all, i'm new here. I used this motherboard with Athlon 3200+ (Venice) and Sapphire Radeon X800 Pro 256 MB. My problem is: Score in 3D Mark 2003 1024x768 is about 8000, I use Windows Me and newest Catalyst driver. My friend use the same system and it's score reaches 12000 (He use Windows XP). Is this can be solved by upgrading OS to XP? Thanks a lot.

Don't know. But Linux would be faster yet.

Directx 9: have that installed ? else do it.

Definitely. Friends don't let friends drive WinME... Wink

Seriously, I would expect the the XP driver to much more stable than the
Me driver.
