nf7s SATA

I've been poking around the siliconimage and abit websites for hours
now, and googled the newsgroups but I cannot find the answer to this:

Does the siliconimage sata controller on the nf7s v.2 support hardware
ncq ?

Current bios here is up to 27 - I noted quite an improvement in the sata
controller detecting the ide drive connected via seriell device after
the flash-update.

Little point in buying a native sata drive if's it doesn't, it seems to
me.

I seriously doubt it, ncq has to be supported by newer chipsets/
controller, very few boards support it yet. Only the newest. The NF7 is
simply too old. There may be controller cards that do, but I don't know.
