Post subject: nv4_disp.dll error, what's the problem?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>nvidia (more info?)

when I am playing Battlefield 2142, it gives nv4_disp.dll error usually, and
then the computer is booted

what's the problem?

Are you using a fanless video card perhaps ?
Is the video card overheating ?

Mentioning the hardware configuration helps
fill us in on what your setup looks like.

When mine did that in Vista, it was the card dumping - card eventually went
bad altogether.
