Hi,

I have been using the nvidia geforce2 for quite some time to watch video on
my tv using the tv out signal via a wireless sender.

When I choose the clone mode, I can watch the video on the tv but on the
monitor the video was blank but I could still access all the functions of
the pc and it was just a matter of changing the settings of the feforce2
back to single view for the monitor to view video again.

This was not really a problem, however I was playing around with the
settings of the geforce2 and tried the Dual control, which was a mistake.
All video was sent to the TV and nothing was left on the monitor. All I
could see was my background photo. I was unable to use the pc and every time
I restarted the PC it was the same.

I unplugged the geforce2 card and connected the monitor to the onboard
graphics card - I could then use my pc but of course not send video to the
tv as this has no TV out.

If I install the geforce2 again and start the PC with the monitor plugged
into the geforce2, the monitor is blank.

If I start the pc with the monitor connected to the onboard graphics card
then change it to the geforce2 everything works fine. I changed the setting
s of the card to normal and everything works ok......

until I restart the computer again and it reverts back to a blank monitor,
even though the settings on the card are set correctly to provide video only
to the monitor.

It's driving me crazy!! Can anyone help???

could always try system restore (if using xp) to go to a time before you
played with settings, or install a later driver, beyond that, i have no
idea..

I installed the latest driver and that ruined the video output. I
uninstalled the card then reinstalled the original drivers and it's ok now.
