Post subject: p4 motherboard question
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard (more info?)

i have a mobile p4 processor which has speedstep and is primarily for use in
laptops.

i want to use it in a desktop.
i tried it in an ibm computer but it only ran at the slower speed and the
motherboard bios did not have the ability to select a different cpu voltage.

what p4, 478 pin, board should i be looking at that has voltage selection in
the bios.

thanks
