Post subject: p4pe RAID connections

About the 3 RAID connections named PRI_RAID1, PRI_SATA1, SEC_SATA1. I have connected 2 drives to PRI_SATA1 and SEC_SATA1. This leaves PRI_RAID1 free and I wonder if I can connect a hard drive here to function as a stand alone hard drive. Or will it have to be included in a RAID array?

I have same mb and I believe you can pick which drives are to be raid.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
