I received a monitor through Fedex from Costco.com. 1 bad pixel on the
middle left side of the screen, bright green. I called Sharp and they of
course told me that I needed 5 bad pixels to warrant a repair. I knew that
was the case but I thought I would see what I could do. So they took my
name and information, gave me an incident # and I returned the monitor to
the local Costco, ordered a new one. I figure I will just keep returning
monitors and ordering a new one until I get a good monitor. Seems like a
huge waste of resources if I have to order 5 or 10 monitors (shipping and
man hours and such) but damn it I want a perfect monitor. Anyway, I am sold
on Costco.com, they took the monitor and I was out of the store in about 5
minutes. I highly recommend buying LCDs through Costco because they make
returning them so easy. Would you take a monitor with 1 bad pixel? A $700
monitor?

No.

$700 for a monitor would justify a high level of expectation. Like that
having a perfect screen display.
