Hi all,
I have a weird one - i've got a newly build PC based on the 8KNXP, and
i'm successfully getting into the BIOS, however each time I change ANY
setting, after rebooting, it will not post, and i get a series of
continuous beeps !
That is, I will simply go in and change the boot order (so that i can
boot from CD-ROM) and when it restarts, it will not post with
continous beeps.
Specs:
ThermalTake case and power (purepower 480w)
8KNXP
P4 2.8C
Gigabyte 9600XT
2X512 DDR 400
Audigy 2

The only way I can get back into the BIOS and try another setting
change, is by clearing the CMOS (removing battery).
So I've done this a number of times, changing different BIOS settings
to the same problems...

Any ideas ??

I also forgot -

Using SATA WD 200G drive, connected via SATA power.
Also, I have not connected a floppy drive at all - does this matter ?
Was hoping to simply boot up CDROM first ... ?

Cheers,
