I place this for the second time, because i've lost it (cann't see it
anymore)

Hi

I have my computer with a K7s5a (version 1.0) with AMD Athlon 1.2 g running
for 2 years now (24/7), and since a couple of weeks I have this problem with
stopping just like that.
When I put the cpu-speed back to 900 mhz (133 to 100 mhz) , then the problem
is solved. At least , it doesn't quit anymore. A few month ago a placed a
better cooler.
What could be the problem ?? Should it be the temp (is now 41 cel)

The second question is:

Can I put a faster cpu (socket A till 2400 Mhz) without problem.??
And how is the combination with my board and this fast cpu ??

Thx in advance
François

If I were to guess, your capacitors are drying up. (those cans on the
motherboard) are they a little bulged?
