Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>abit (more info?)

My machine is running a freshly installed XP on a formatted drive. The
mobo is a KT7A RAID. Everything seems to be working fine except the
RAID controller. When I check the hardware list everything is cool
except I have an exclamation in Mass Storage Controller in the SCSI and
RAID list

When I try to reinstall the driver I get....The driver for this device
is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF file was
written for 95 or later. I am running a fresh install of XP, because I
was getting the same error when I was using XP installed over 98.

I am on Highpoint's web site and I am pretty sure the driver I need
is ATA Raid. There are 4 choices. RocketRaid 100 133 454 464. I am
not sure, but I believe I need to pick either 100 or 133. How can I
tell? Also, how to I know what revision to use?

What is your drive running at. 133? 100? 150? Think.
