Well actually it will read one disk

System is

Non raid setup both controlers

4 port SIIG SATA raid controller (si3114) PCI card

2 X WD2500JD
2 X Diamondmax 9 250GB

Wd2500JD on port 0 booting windows media center 2005 (WinXP Pro SP2)

2 Port sata raid controler (si3112) as part of a nABIT NF-7S Motherboard

1 X Diamondmax 9 250GB

S.M.A.R.T. software latest revision

HDtune
HDDHealth

S.M.A.R.T. data can be read from the. WD2500JD boot disk on Port 0 of the
SIIG controller using hdtune and HDD health and if an IDE drive is on the
IDE bus it will be read also. But it will only read one SATA disk

Is this typical? Is there a solution?

TIA
