Where have the real achh's gone?

And why can't there be pc.hardware.a .... pc.hardware.zzzzz?
I've got issues! Like, needing input on cheep, easily implemented
backplane/card sockets!
Like homebrewing video interfaces! (Ala ts-100/zx81,etc)......
Like how to synch a 500kHz & 4MHz signal for NEC765A? Will a /8 divider
get it?

I already know as much about current p.c. hardware as I wanna......and
what I don't know,
I torture innocent servers for, making them spill their secrets to me
(okay, I just google).

So please, where have the real achh's gone?
