Rober, what you need to do is pick a device that will be your DHCP
server for your entire LAN. I would suggest leaving the settings on
your linksys alone. Turn the DHCP server off on your wireless router.
Don't plug the wireless router in via the "WAN" port, instead plug it
in via one of its LAN ports. This will make it work much like a switch
instead of a router, but after all, that is all you really need it to
do.

Hello,
I am trying to add a wireless router to my network, which consists of
a broadband connection split up by a Linksys NAT router, creating a
192.168.1.x network. The only way I can get wireless access to the
'net is to set the wireless router to get it's external IP via DHCP
(from the Linksys box) and set the IP range of it's internal network
to be 192.168.2.x. This works fine, but then the wireless clients
have 192.168.2.x IPs and the wired clients have 192.168.1.x IPs; I
want all the clients to be on the same network so that they can
communicate via SMB etc..
How do I accomplish this? Am I making a fundamental networking error?
Thanks!!!!
