i've got 2 ide drives at the moment and have just bought the asus av8-deulux
which had sata connectors (as well as ide).

so the question, can i use both sata and ide at the same time if i go and
buy a sata drive? or is this impossible?

thanks in advance

They are all IDE drives. You will have to read up on the boot order BIOS
option.
