when running a sata drive in the IDE mode , not the RAID mode is it faster
than a regular eide 133?? only have a single sata and was wondering?? also
seeming to have alot of weird things with this new PT800CE-A mobo , anyone
else. had to install win xp pro 4 times and still don't trust it?? thank
you

SATA FIX!! - ECS tech finally got it through to me that there is a hardware issue --you can't have a primary IDE and a SATA? so i disabled the primary channel and it found the SATA drive "0' Master right away - no need to use the f6 option during setup ect. ...

Can't Install SATA?????? - i have an 848P-A ECS motherboard and i cannot get it to see the SATA hard drive?? i have 2 IDE connected to IDE 1 and IDE 2 , @ cd rom/dvd on the secondary channel, have enabled SATA Enhanced mode in the bios(auto didn't see it either)?? i don't know...
