Never saw this before.
Win 98SE. Perform shutdown (start-shut down). Computer shuts down
normally. The instant everything goes dark, the power and HD led's
flash like crazy (5 to 10 times per second). CPU fan is turning. 5V
power is also flashing on/off. Not healthy I suppose.
This was a new motherboard that had previously gone though several
power-up / shut-down cycles without exhibiting this problem.
Swapped power supply. No change. Swap motherboard - problem gone.
Any ideas?
