Post subject: smart media 3.3V question ?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>dcameras (more info?)

I have decided to bring my old Fuji MX-1200 back to life as a second camera.
Problem is i went and bought a 64mb Smart Media card for it and the camera
says "No Card" !. The 8mb and 2mb cards work ok. The only difference that i
can see between the cards is that the 2 and 8 Mb ones have "3.3 Volts"
stamped on them, whereas the 64Mb one doesn't !.

Is there any way i can get the 64Mb card to work in the camera ??. Is it
likely to be the case that it's not working because of this 3.3V not being
stamped on it ????

Cheers
Andrew

Under WinXP, right click on drive letter, format. But that only gives me the
option of FAT or FAT32, and no options for anything other than 62.4MB. I
cannot select the desired capacity !

Help !
'

Many Thanks
Andrew
