The 3200+ only comes in a 400FSB model, but 400FSB is actually a 200MHz
FSB. No K7 cpu's will ever have a default FSB of more than 200MHz. And
there are no MB/chipsets for the K7 that officially support anything
faster than a 200MHz FSB, although some will go higher.

Socket A & 754 Sempron caution. - I don't know if this is well known or not but AMD has used different criteria in giving the Sempron line of cpu's its PR numbers. So don't buy a Sempron 3100+ expecting it to be faster than an Athlon 64 3000+. Because it's nowhere close to as fast. AMD..

Any faster socket A athlons planned? - Has AMD announced any plans to release faster athlons (say 3.0 Ghz)? According to Sisoft Sandra 2004 the performance of the Opteron 148 2.2 Ghz is underwhelming -- it's not even 10% faster than my Barton at 2300Mhz in dhrystones and is SLOWER than my..

Are Heat Sink fans for socket 754 AMD CPU's compatable wit.. - Are Heat Sink fans for socket 754 AMD CPU's compatable with the socket 939 Motherboards? I would like to use a quiet Zalman fan (CNPS7000A-Cu) with one of the new Athlon 64s for socket 939 - but I can not confirm compatability.
