(1) what is your budget for the board?
(2) what are you going to use this beast for?
(3) which OS, how much RAM?

You realize that you HAVE to use Xeon CPU's ONLY, if you go with an Intel
based board.

You should have said
"Why not the Q6600 Core2Duo"
