Post subject: Soyo sy-7vba133u driver problem
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>soyo (more info?)

I downloaded the latest drivers for this board, which came out sometime last
year.
They seem to load fine agp and bus master drivers.
But when I go to the Internet, I can't access alot of sites, gamespy reads
9999 ping. It tries to load the site on the internet, then gets a write
error.
It messes up files on my drive and I have to run chkdsk /f alot, probably
from the write errors from the internet.

What am I missing here? Do I have to do something before I load the latest
drivers for the board?

I tried loading them separtely and the same problem occurs.
I run the restorepoint and everything is back to normal.
running xp pro/celeron tulatin 1.4GHz/512megs ram/ata100/66 2 drives
