hi,

my t42 works fine using windows xp zero config for wifi, but if i turn
off that service to get the lenovo software to handle the wifi
nothing happens.

i am windows xp sp2.

i have used system update to install the current sw. i have
downloaded the current sw and installed it myself - 77wc39ww.exe and
get no errors.

the driver version on the t42 is correct, 4.1.2.156. i am using the
admin account for this machine.

any suggestions?

What exactly do you mean by "nothing happens"? You get no connection?
You get connection, but no IP address? You get an IP address, but no
