Maybe something is trying to hide itself? I'd make sure you do a full
virus and spyware scan. (ad-aware + spybot for the latter)

You didn't mention which operating system you're using, but I'd suspect a
possible virus preventing access to Task Manager, trying to disguise itself.
You should scan thoroughly for any viruses.

Good luck,

Thanks for the reply and help.. I run windowsXP and I also did run
Norton Antivirus and the scan is passed without detecting any virus..
I am not online, so I do not know if I can update my antivirus ..
Thanks once again..
