Hi, I just installed an AMD k6 3/400afr cpu on my socket 7. I changed the speed from 300 to 400 on sw1. How could I find out these specs running under Win 98. Thanks George, The diag only specifies "AMD-K6(tm) 3D + Processor" at 400 Mhz. It is not explicit as to wether it is a k6-2 or a k6-3 (unless the + means it is a k6-3) Any other suggestions? Regards Richard >> Stay informed about: How can I tel if it's a k6 III at 400 mhz

Thanks George, I did not liked the license on Everest. I used cpu-z and got my answers. It is an amd k6 III. It should be between 1.5 to 3 times faster than the 300 mhz K6-II I had.
