I have a P4 3.0GHz HT cpu at stock FSB of 200MHz on an Abit IS7-E
motherboard with Corsair Dual DDR 3200 Memory (2 x 512)
I tried simply increasing the FSB speed, not by much for starters, and
the PC will boot but for some reason it will lose the SATA drive when it
boots. Set back to Automatic settings and it's fine again. Anyone know
what the problem here could be?
If I can solve that problem could someone let me know, or point me to a
good resource, on what settings such as AGP/PCI timings, Memory ratio,
voltages etc be set to? I would like to see if I can get the cpu up to
the 3.2GHz mark if I can.
I have already successfully overclocked my Hercules Radeon 9800 Pro to
425/351 - may even be able to go higher although I'm not looking to
invest in any advanced cooling system simply for bragging rights.
Any help greatly appreciated.

You need to lock you AGP/PCI bus in the Softmenu
