Post subject: time to replace videocard

looking for a cheap card, here's one that fits my budget at newegg.com

any pros or cons or matching products?

as I do not have time to play games, this is strictly a work machine card
but it would be nice to run at the higher resolution with less flicker

requirements: PCI Bus, must support DirectX 9.0, nvidia

from what you say here the card will do all you want

from what you say there it sounds like this card is the only card that meets
your requirements

The only con would be the lower ramdac speed. Try to find a pci card with
400 MHz RAMDACs. The higher the res and refresh rate you want to use the
higher the required ramdac speed. If the ramdac speed is too slow the image
might blur.

1280x1024x32 @ 95Hz Refresh would exceed the 350MHz RAMDAC capacity.
