Have you tested with the secondary IDE interface ? Maybe one of the
two interfaces is fried. Options would be to replace the TUV4X
if the warranty is still good. Otherwise, get a Promise IDE
controller card and host the drives off that instead. I use
one of those in my P4B, because it was bundled with a Maxtor
drive I bought a couple of years ago. It could also be the
cable that is at fault. Also, WD drives are known to like
"cable select" mode, and that is another option to try.
