I recently bought a high end LCD and I'd like to upgrade my graphics board
to one with a DVI output. Since my current computer will probably be
retired next year, I don't want to invest very much money. My requirements
are : AGP board, DVI output, capable of good image quality, LOW NOISE! I'd
be grateful for any recommendations.

Thanks,

Jean

I'd look for a used Radeon 9600 based board on E-Bay. Avoid the low
power 9600SE, any of the others would be ok. Should be relatively cheap
(under $50, perhaps half that).

How high-end? Is its native resolution *above* 1920x1200? If so, you will
need a card equipped with a dual-link DVI output. The cheapest would be the
X1600 Pro AGP.

As per your suggestion, I found several 9600's on ebay and I'll put a bid
in on one. Thanks for the help!
