Post subject: How to tell the voltage on the AGP slot ?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>elitegroup (more info?)

I maybe on the wrong track here, but maybe someone can help me.

I've a P4VXASD2 and I'm trying to run a geforce FX 5200. I'm getting no
video signal at power on and no post/boot.

I've been assuming it's a bios problem (I've flashed to the newest I can
find but thats not helped).

I'm thinking that maybe the AGP slot won't supply the correct voltage
for the card (1.0 v I think), even though a P4vxasd2+ will run one and
even a 3 year old Abit BH6 has no problems.

Can anyone tell anyway of finding out the voltage, I know there's a
setting in the advanced page in the bios but this comes out as hex. Is
this the thing I'm looking for ?

(you could save what little hair I have left...)
