Hello,
I've got a here a Matrox Millennium with a problem. At apparently random
intervals, anywhere from after 10 minutes use to several hours, it
starts behaving like as if its overclocked and begins artifacting the
screen with a block to the bottom right of the cursor, lines and white
spots, quickly deteriorating. It does this with both Win98SE and WinME,
in different computers. When it starts happening, when I open the
Windows shutdown dialogue, the background suddenly heavily artifacts.
Also, the "it is now safe to shut down the computer" screen seems
unaffected.
Since the card is not overclocked, could anyone give me some clue as to
why it is doing this? Can dust build-up do this? The drivers supplied
with WinME & Win98SE are faulty?
Thankyou
