Hi,

Ma configuration :
Shuttle SB61G2
Processor Intel Pentium 4 2.6C GHz HyperThreading
Mémory TwinMOS DIMM 256Mo - DDR PC-3200 CAS 2.5
Mémory TwinMOS DIMM 256Mo - DDR PC-3200 CAS 2.5
HDD Seagate Barracuda ATA V - SATA - 80 Go - 7200 tr/mn - 8Mo cache
Graphic card XFX Graphics Geforce 4 Ti4200 - 64 Mo DDR - TV
Plextor PlexWriter 48/24/48

Mes programmes :
Windows XP Professionnel Service Pack 1a
Drivers Detonator 43.45
Intel INF update utility 5.02
Realtek AC'97 Drivers A3.45

My problem :
When the processor is strongly requested (> 50%), a whistle emanates from
the case, after checking, it could act either of a condenser, or of the
alim.
Does there exist a risk for the various components? Does the motherboard
have to be replaced? Is my configuration too hot for the shuttle ?
No test carried out.
Thank you for your assistance
