There's nothing to disagree with, you have misunderstood the
topic. The problem was not rejecting the neighbor's
signals, it was a curiousity, concern, etc, that the
neighbors didn't have what appeared to be secure wifi
networks.
FWIW, I have no idea what you are thinking, most people are
not trying to use a multiband antenna at all (except in the
case of 5GHz for 802.11a in conjunction with b/g), since
anything wireless comes with it's own integral or removable
tuned antenna for the correct frequency.
