xp2500+mobile

lo,

i have a abit at7max2 with xp2500+ mobile
cpu running at 14x180 @1.75V
i am pleased with my o/clock but my internal diode temps are 40c idle and
upto 66c full load on 3dmark for an hour
system is stable
is it safe to run at such a high temp i know its within specs etc, but would
like to know other peoples experiences on these temps

ABIT AT7MAX2
XP 2500+mobile @2.506
1024 pc3200 crucial
ABIT GF4 TI4200
2x120GIG IBM 180GXP on highpoint raid

i am using a coolermaster aero+ cooler at the moment
temperatures in mbm5 after around an hour of 3dmark or super_pi are

cpu diode temps 40c-66c
cpu socket temps 35c-52c

Temps seem quite high for a relatively low Vcore, but although you wouldn't
want to go higher than your current temps I don't think they're anything to
worry about.

My XP-M 2500 is running at 1.9Vcore, 11*220 for around 2.4GHz, load temp
(socket) is sitting at 37c (f@h 24/7) on fairly average, low noise, water
cooling (Maze 4, 120.1, L30).

Try some water cooling?

water cooling sounds good however its very new to me (need more courage)
i am pretty new to the o/clockin scene but at the moment the mobile cpus
seem total o/clock beasts Smile

mine is a IQYHA 0401 XPMW
i am very tempted to get a ABIT NF7s V2.0
is yours running on a nf7s?

Have you checked the seating of your HSF? What case intake/exhaust fans have
you got?
